From the beginning, it meant a way to give something back to our culture, add items to a collection, being able to wear our culture in a different and unique way.
We’ve always defined our design as Venezuelan because that’s from where we are. It’s also kitsch, controversial, vintage, funky, unique —nostalgic.
We weren’t even trying to create a brand when we made unmatching shoes for Carolina. We weren’t even looking for a name when the hot chocolate ended up all over Pablo. That’s what Hot Chocolate Design is about —nostalgy, remembrance, collections, design. Not just shoes and bags.
An idea. A feeling. A moment. Everything was so ours that we never thought the matchless could find a match.
